This was a ten minute film which won the Sefton Short Film Festival in 2005.
I animated, directed and produced ”The Strand” which I completed in late April 2005 and which was first screened on 5th May 2005 at FACT cinema complex in Wood Street, Liverpool. It went on to win the Sefton Short Film Festival on 11th October 2005.
It tells the story of Donald, a lonely geneticist, who in his frustration decides to make a clone of himself as a way of breaking out of his lonely existence. At first the two men get on well together And spend their time playing chess, dining out and going to the opera.
